The single pipe connection (EAS) is used for mounting istameter water meters and sensonic heat meters according to the istameter principle. It can be mounted universally in all conventional types of pipe and installation, thus remaining permanently connected to the installation. The EAS is made from high-grade hot-pressed brass or red bronze. Depending on requirements, it is available in various different variations such as inner thread, soldered connection, pressed connection or outer thread, and in different installation dimensions.

The valve connection piece (VAS) is the ideal solution for retrofitting an istameter water meter to existing dwelling shut-off valves. The upper part of the dwelling shut-off valve is simply replaced by the VAS. Once installed, the VAS remains permanently fitted to the installation. The VAS system consists of a basic kit and supplementary kit. The basic kit which is always needed consists of the meter cup with shut-off valve, union nut and wall rose. The supplementary kit is selected individually depending on the dimensions of the existing dwelling shut-off valve (Rp 1/2, Rp 3/4 or Rp 1). It contains:
Pressure screw with sliding ring, outer tube, double nipple and rising pipe (with sleeve for R 1/2).
