Heat Allocation Meter
The proven technology for measuring heat consumption data. ista offers two reliable technologies: heat allocation meters using the evaporator principle with the classical exemper and the state-of-the-art electronic heat allocation meter doprimo III (dual sensor device).
doprimo® III
The doprimo III is an electronic heat allocation meter which records the temperature of the radiator surface and the room air with its two sensors. This also guarantees accurate recording of the consumption after conversion of the old heating boiler to low-temperature or condensing boiler technology. The temperature difference is the measure for heat consumption. The doprimo III starts to meter as soon as there is a temperature difference of at least 4.5°C between the radiator sensor and the room air sensor; no metering takes place below a temperature reading of 23°C on the radiator.
exemper®
The evaporation heat allocation meter exemper is mounted with the heat-conducting base directly on the radiator surface. The measuring liquid in the open, transparent ampoule evaporates depending on the temperature and the duration of temperature influence. The quantity of evaporated liquid is defined by reading off the scale lines. The number of read scale lines acts as comparative indicator for emitted heat.
Last year's ampoule for consumption comparison. Unusually long ampoules for extremely accurate metering. Well conceived optical fibre makes it easier to register the values. The range is between 60ºC to 110ºC.
