Walter Schmidt, born 1967, has been a member of the management of ista International since October 2003. At first he was responsible for Corporate Services/Finance. Walter Schmidt has long-standing and wide-ranging professional expertise in the area of heat and water submetering. He started his career in 1986 at Techem AG, where he held the position of CFO with responsibility for Finance and Accounting, Controlling and Auditing, Investor Relations, Purchasing and Logistics, Infrastructure/IT Networks. He has in-depth experience in leveraged buyouts (LBOs) and also played a key role in the successful IPO of Techem AG and the placement of a secondary offering. In July 2004 Walter Schmidt became CEO of ista International and the regional office ista Deutschland.

Christoph Heymann, born 1962, has been a member of the management of ista since 2004. After several jobs in investment banking, corporate development and mechanical and plant engineering, Christoph Heymann, who was at the time living in the USA, co-founded a software company in 1997. The company was sold to MIS AG, the European market leader in business intelligence solutions, in 2000. Parts of MIS AG were later hived off to form Tensegrity Software GmbH, where he was a managing partner until the end of 2003. At ista Christoph Heymann acted as Chief Operating Officer (COO) from 2004 until 2007 at the ista Holding in Essen. In June 2007 he became 'international' managing director for ista International GmbH.

Christian Leu, born 1965, is a member of the management of ista from May 2006. The Swiss began his career in 1989 as an analyst with Compaq (Switzerland). After various managing positions with Compaq in Switzerland and Germany he assumed the position as CFO at Leica Geosystems Holding in 1999. The listed swiss incorporation offers a broad range of products and services to capture, analyze, and present spatial information. Christian Leu was responsible for Treasury, Tax, Controlling, Planning, Corporate Finance, IR und Legal. At ista Christian Leu takes the position as Chief Operation Officer Finance and Controlling (CFO) of ista International. He is responsible for Corporate Controlling, Corporate FA, Treasury, Tax, Internal Audit, Central Procurement/Warehouses and the international Service Centers.
