Chapter Lead – Testing

Tech stack: Java, Python, Selenium, Playwright, TestComplete, RestAssured, Postman, GitLab CI, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Jira, Xray

Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of testers, fostering growth, empowerment, and high performance
Define the vision, identity, and standards of the testing chapter to ensure alignment and purpose
Collaborate closely with Tribe Leads and Product Owners to align staffing, priorities, and squad-level objectives
Drive the hiring and onboarding process for new testers
Contribute hands-on to projects (around 50% of the role), applying testing expertise to ensure delivery excellence
Design and implement comprehensive test strategies covering functional, integration, and performance aspects
Continuously optimize and streamline testing processes for better efficiency and quality
Advocate for a “quality-first” mindset across the organization, promoting best practices and innovation in QA

Experience in test automation and QA methodologies
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java,Python)
Hands-on experience with test frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, TestComplete)
Strong background in REST API testing using tools like RestAssured or Postman
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (GitLab CI)
Practical experience working with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
Knowledge of test management and tracking tools (Jira, Xray)
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to agile environments
