We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer who thrives in an agile environment and is passionate about automation, quality, and continuous improvement.

 

Your Role

You will:

• Design and maintain automated test cases (Playwright, web applications, business processes) 
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) 
• Testing integrations between systems (API, UI, backend)
• Log analysis and debugging errors
• Collaboration with other squad members on process development and maintenance
• Create and maintain test strategies, plans, and reports 
• Improve and scale our test automation frameworks 
• Support end-to-end and UI regression testing
• Ensure high test coverage for key user journeys 
• Continuously enhance testing processes and best practices 

Your Profile

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Hands-on experience in test automation (preferably Playwright, API) 
• Strong knowledge of Java + testing frameworks (JUnit / TestNG) 
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab
• Familiarity with Git and test management tools (Jira, Xray, etc.) 
• Experience in REST API testing (RestAssured, Postman, etc.) 
• Database skills
• Usage of AI assisted test development
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices 
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to quality 
• Fluent English (German is a plus) 

 

Nice to have:

• Experience working with RPA solutions (Blue Prism or Camunda)
• Familiarity with ERP-class systems, e.g., SAP
• Basic knowledge of Python
• Good knowledge of integration and end-to-end testing
• Process-oriented mindset and the ability to view the system as a whole (not just the UI layer)
