Technical Support Engineer (m/f/d)

Here's what your responsibilities in the role would look like
  • Administer and maintain Active Directory services
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently, escalating complex issues to senior engineers when applicable
  • Follow ITIL lifecycle processes and prioritise customer service
  • Build and integrate new laptops and mobile devices into our MDM solution
  • Manage and maintain EntralD and Microsoft lntune across all relevant devices
  • Manage security vulnerabilities on Endpoints
  • Balance project work with day to day support and maintenance
  • Troubleshot networking issues and provide solution to maintain a seamless IT environment (inc's print devices)
  • Provide first and second line support to internal colleagues
  • Manage and educate users on use of M365 applications such as SharePoint and OneDrive
  • Provide technical training to colleagues
  • Ownership of company asset management list, ensuring it remains accurate and up to date
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in the UK and large ista group (CIT)
What we require of you
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Working knowledge of M365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Active Directory, Jira, Confluence, EntralD, and lntune
  • A good understanding of networking concepts
  • Ability to work effectively and in a structured way in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Desire and drive to improve existing systems
  • An effective time manager and multi-tasker with excellent communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence and be able to use own vehicle (with relevant insurance) for occasional work purposes
What we offer you
  • 22 days holiday per annum (Jan-Dec) rising by 1 day per full year employed until 25 days holiday have been awarded (exc. BH's)
