Business Development Manager (m/f/d)

Here's what your responsibilities in the role would look like
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets, KPls, and activity standards.
  • Deliver quarter-on-quarter in qualified pipeline value.
  • Maintain a strong proposal-to-win rate with accurate forecasting and qualification.
  • Drive the acquisition of new customers and new logos, expanding our market presence.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation through to close.
  • Convert outbound activities (calls, outreach, Linkedln, events) into high-quality sales meetings.
  • Produce compelling, tailored proposals alighted to customer goals and commercial priorities.
  • Raise our profile in key sectors, positioning ista as the parter of choice in energy and net-zero services.
  • Develop account-level strategies to increase revenue, expand penetration, and maximise lifetime value.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to shape BD strategy and cadence.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing on outbound campaigns and lead-generation initiatives.
  • Use initiative, tools and networks (including Linkedln) to generate high-quality, well qualified opportunities.
What we require of you
  • Proven track record in BDM, field sales or an account management role.
  • Experience in delivering energy services- metering, energy management net-zero, solar PV, battery & storage and procurement.
  • Demonstratable experience leading a consultative solution-led sales process with strong commercial understanding and the ability to articulate ROI and strategic values.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • A self-starter: Proactive, motivated, and comfortable working independently who is highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities at various stages.
  • Experience working with corporate or multi-site customers.
  • Full UK driving licence.

  • 22 days holiday per annum (Jan-Dec) rising by 1 day per full year employed until 25 days holiday have been awarded (exc. BHs)
