No spreadsheets. No delays. Just instant insight, 24/7, from any device.
Tailored dashboards present your energy data in both graphical and tabular formats, fully branded to your organisation. Smart monitoring features detect inefficiencies and deviations early, while automated alerts flag abnormal consumption — helping your team respond before costs rise. Built-in CO₂ tracking gives you a clear view of emissions performance, supporting strategic decisions and ESG reporting.
Whether you manage production facilities, office buildings or complex residential portfolios, MinuteView gives you the transparency and control you need to cut costs, improve reliability, and future-proof your energy strategy.
MinuteView transforms raw energy data into actionable insights. Whether you’re benchmarking buildings, identifying usage spikes, or preparing reports for ESG or regulatory compliance purposes, the platform empowers your team to reduce energy consumption, detect inefficiencies faster, and streamline internal reporting workflows.
ista’s solution integrates seamlessly with your existing smart meters and submeters, eliminating the need for costly infrastructure changes. By making energy usage visible and actionable, businesses can reduce consumption by 15% up to 20%, improve the reliability of their plans, and stay ahead of their sustainability targets.
Our energy management seamlessly integrates with your existing infrastructure to provide comprehensive insight into your energy performance. The process begins with the connection of your electricity, gas or water meters — including existing smart and submeters — to the platform. Once connected, your data is collected in real time and made available via customisable dashboards reflecting your building's operational requirements.
You can set specific alert thresholds to highlight unusual consumption patterns, enabling your team to respond swiftly to anomalies. Alongside live insights, MinuteView tracks your CO₂ emissions and quantifies your energy savings, supporting net zero strategies. Reports can be exported at any time to meet audit, SECR or ESOS compliance or ESG tracking requirements, ensuring that your energy data informs operations and drives measurable sustainability outcomes.
Use personalised dashboards — tailored to your brand — to easily compare energy data across meters, buildings, or even countries.

As the UK advances on its 2050 net zero target, organisations are under mounting pressure to report on their carbon footprint and prove they are taking meaningful steps towards decarbonisation and improving energy efficiency. Although not yet mandatory, energy management is strongly encouraged and regulated in the UK through various programmes, particularly for larger organisations.
Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS)
ESOS is a mandatory energy assessment scheme for large UK organisations. It runs in four-year phases and is currently in Phase 4, which is underway until 31 December 2026. It applies to businesses with over 250 employees, a turnover above £36 million, and a balance sheet exceeding £18 million. Companies in scope must carry out an energy audit every four years to identify potential energy-saving measures.
Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR)
Mandatory in the UK since April 2019, SECR requires large companies to report annually on their energy use, carbon emissions, and any efficiency improvements. It applies to companies listed on a public exchange or to companies meeting at least two of the following criteria: 250 or more employees, £36 million or more in annual turnover, or a balance sheet total over £18 million. Private companies using less than 40,000 kWh of energy per year are exempt.
ISO 50001
ISO 50001 is an international standard for energy management systems. Although it is not mandatory, it provides a structured way of monitoring and improving energy performance, and it can be used as a recognised method of achieving ESOS compliance. The standard is often adopted by companies seeking to formalise their sustainability efforts and align with best practices.
Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)
TCFD reporting is mandatory for large UK-listed companies, asset managers, and institutional investors. It requires organisations to disclose how they assess and manage climate-related risks and opportunities, covering areas such as governance, strategy, and emissions impact.
Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES)
As of April 2023, all non-domestic rented properties in the UK must meet an EPC rating of E or higher. These standards are part of a broader effort to reduce the energy demand of commercial buildings, and more stringent requirements are expected in the coming years.
Sustainability Disclosure Requirements (SDR)
The Sustainability Disclosure Requirements (SDRs) mark the UK's ambitious shift towards sustainable finance and corporate responsibility, introducing broader ESG-focused reporting. This comprehensive regulatory framework requires companies and financial institutions to disclose their positive and negative environmental and social impacts. The primary objective of the SDR is to encourage transparency and accountability within the corporate sector. By demanding detailed disclosures, the SDR guarantees that companies are aware of and accountable for their sustainability impacts and commitments.
In this landscape, energy management is not only a technical necessity, but also a regulatory and financial priority. With the right strategies and technologies, it is possible to save both energy and money. Studies have shown that businesses can save between 15% to 20% on their energy bills by making small changes to their working practices, often with little or no financial outlay. Those that take early action and implement data-driven energy management can future-proof their operations, ensure compliance, and improve their long-term sustainability performance.
