By managing 44 systems with istaDES, Wonen Limburg gets performance, failures and costs under control and sustainably improves comfort and energy efficiency.
Wonen Limburg manages 44 collectively fired residential complexes with a total of 2,500 connections. For the technical management of the energy installations, the organization works together with istaDES and various maintenance parties. istaDES plays a coordinating and analytical role in this, in which monitoring, maintenance planning and performance monitoring are central. With this collaboration, Wonen Limburg not only wants to ensure reliable and efficient heat supply, but also more insight, fewer malfunctions and a solid foundation for further sustainability of the housing stock.

Wonen Limburg wants to keep a grip on the technical and financial return of the collective energy installations in 44 residential complexes. With many different installations and maintenance parties, it was a challenge to gain unambiguous insight into performance, comfort and malfunctions. In addition, there was a need for a structural reduction in the number of complaints from residents, a future-proof maintenance plan and a link between technical management and financial results.
ista supports Wonen Limburg with the complete technical management of the installations, in close cooperation with various maintenance parties. The service is modular and includes monitoring performance, monitoring maintenance plans, analyzing malfunctions and supervising improvement processes. Technical, financial and communicative processes are considered integrally.
Thanks to the collaboration with istaDES, Wonen Limburg has up-to-date insight into the performance, comfort and efficiency of all its collective installations. Technical monitoring, financial control and resident feedback come together in one integrated management model. Major improvements can be achieved with relatively small adjustments to settings or maintenance. Through structured analyses, such as the NEN 2767 inspections and failure history, the worst-performing complexes are tackled first. In this way, technical quality is linked to comfort and cost control.
Every month, istaDES presents current results via ReduQ such as energy consumption (compared to the previous year), CO₂ emissions, efficiency per complex, alarm messages and KPI statuses. Every quarter, Wonen Limburg and its partners receive an extensive report that includes not only the monitoring data, but also data on fault registration, customer service and debtor management (via Debicasso). This quarterly report connects technology and finance: the technical return is compared with the financial return, including failure analyses per complex. In addition, it is mapped out which complaints have had an impact on the return and which action points follow from this. This creates a complete and objective picture of the performance per complex.
