The symphonic mbus is ista’s innovative M-Bus system that offers a centralized solution for accurate meter readings of heat, water, electricity, and gas consumption. With the ability to connect up to 2,000 consumption recording devices, the symphonic mbus provides a convenient and reliable solution for intelligent energy management.

Istameter mbus or Domaqua mbus offer accurate measurements and easy processing of hot or cold water thanks to their modular design, giving administrators and planners unlimited versatility.

The pulsonic II mbus pulse module enables easy integration of electricity and gas meters into the M-Bus system. Even meters with a contact output can be integrated without their own M-Bus interface.

How does it work?

The symphonic M-Bus system from ista operates at an advanced level and enables the central and real-time monitoring of multiple utility meters, including heat, water, electricity, and gas meters. This system uses a master-slave architecture, where one master device communicates with up to 2000 slave devices (meters) and collects and processes data via the M-Bus network (Meter-Bus). This wired bus system ensures reliable and secure data transmission, which is encrypted for additional security. The M-Bus is designed for minimal energy consumption and can operate over long cable distances, supporting various building layouts.
