With the acquisition of FLINK Netherlands – a team of around 40 experts – we are strengthening our position as a full-service provider of climate-friendly solutions in the real estate sector.
8 July 2025 – Energy service provider ista has acquired FLINK Nederland in full as of 7 July, thereby expanding its energy services offering in the Netherlands. FLINK was founded in 2012 and has developed over the past 13 years into a renowned energy procurement consultancy firm focused on commercial and industrial customers in the Netherlands. The partnership aims to combine the strengths of both companies. FLINK will continue to operate as an independent unit within ista and will be led by its current Managing Director, Tijn Mutsaers.

Customers benefit from a comprehensive range of services
ista is thus continuing to implement its strategy of becoming a full-service provider for climate-friendly property-related services. ista has already expanded its product range in recent years and now offers ESG data management, energy monitoring, intelligent heating control, EV charging and metering services for electricity, gas and district heating. Established products such as smart submetering, energy management systems and istaDES as a sustainable energy management solution will benefit from the expertise of the FLINK team.
FLINK will continue to operate as an independent unit within ista, focusing on providing integrated energy procurement and efficiency solutions for both real estate and commercial and industrial customers. ista customers will benefit from FLINK's strong product portfolio, particularly its expertise in strategic energy procurement, to obtain advice on challenges in the field of property electrification.
