If a payment is not received within the agreed payment term, we send the resident a reminder, and if necessary a dunning notice. At ista we place great value on a people-centred approach and personal contact. We are therefore happy to call the resident to discuss whether we can find a solution together — for example by arranging a payment plan. If the resident still does not pay, we will transfer the file to a bailiff in consultation with you, the manager.
You gain access to your Debicasso portfolios via the ista Web Portal and, after logging in, have immediate access to all activities and up-to-date information. In addition to all settlements and financial matters you can also view the status and details of ongoing files such as outstanding items, arrears, arrangements in place and possible bailiff actions. Everything clear and organised. Combined with our Plus Package your costs for moves and repairs are covered — so you receive no separate invoices.
Your residents also get their own Debicasso portal. Here they will find the settlement and advance invoices and can view the status of their payments.
They can also submit a request to change the advance amount and/or bank account number, and authorise direct debit — all easily done in the portal. In short: a handy portal with all information about energy billing in one place!

In the first year of billing by ista Netherlands, the method of heating and/or water consumption is not yet known. The advance payment in this first year is therefore the amount that you, as the administrator, provide to us.
The same applies to new residents. In that case, too, we will use the advance payment amount you provide us with for the first year.
Once we have made the settlement, we can see whether the monthly advance payment amount has been sufficient, too high or too low. We will then adjust the advance payment amount to the resident's consumption.
Yes, that is certainly possible! Your residents can authorise ista using an authorisation form. They will then no longer have to worry about payments.
Yes, all information is available to your residents in their own resident portal. Here they can find all payments and statements. They can also enter their bank account number and authorise ista to set up a direct debit. Your residents will receive information from ista on how to register for this.
