JUMP – The management development programme

We filled 77 % of our top management positions from our own ranks. Not least of all because, for many years now, we have been systematically selecting our international high potentials to attend an internal management development programme.

Our JUMP participants are supported in a targeted manner in an 18-month programme involving a host of individually tailored training courses. The knowledge acquired enables them to assume general management positions in the future. We offer an international JUMP programme as well as local programmes in many countries.

Graduate Trainee Programme

Our 24-month graduate trainee programme offers a career entry for university graduates. In the course of the variable working areas and qualification measures, we want to accomplish that the graduates build and enlarge their company-specific skills and management know-how. In this way, the trainees are encouraged to deepen their interdivisional thinking and acting.

  • Finance: You will get to know the different areas of finance of our company and will be intensively involved in the respective departments. A stay abroad in one of our global branches is included.
  • Sales: You primarily learn about ista's operative sales activities in all its facets and assume responsibility in this area at an early stage at various locations.
  • Operations: You will get to know the most important business processes and be intensively involved in various projects at various locations.

Students

  • Degree Thesis: Do you want support for your degree thesis? In Germany and further countries we offer you assistance by professional subject matter experts. In order to apply for a degree thesis, please send us your outline by using the online form for speculative applications or contact the local HR department.
  • Internship: Asking questions, deepening your knowledge, working with professionals, gaining experience. An internship at ista involves all that. We believe that you gain most if you work at our company for at least three months - even longer if you want to. Depending on your field of study, you can immerse yourself in a variety of areas – from IT, finance, controlling, marketing and sales to HR.
