We are building long-term customer relationships, strengthening our position in the property market and accelerating our contribution to sustainable and smart energy solutions. To further shape our growth in the south of the Netherlands, we are looking for an experienced Account Manager for the Limburg region.
In this role, you will be the face of ista to our customers in Limburg. You know how to identify and capitalise on commercial opportunities and understand how to add value in complex property environments. Drawing on your experience, you will build sustainable partnerships, not only advising but also actively contributing ideas on smart energy and consumption solutions.
You will be part of ista’s Account Management team and report to the Commercial Director.
This is what you are going to do.
As an Account Manager, you combine commercial acumen with a relationship-oriented approach and a strong focus on customer value.
- You will manage and develop existing customer relationships in the Limburg region, with a focus on property managers, owners’ associations, housing associations and commercial property owners.
- You will actively maintain relationships and act as a strategic sparring partner for your customers.
- You will identify and capitalise on commercial opportunities, translating these into concrete proposals and contracts.
- Advise your clients on smart metering services, energy efficiency and sustainable solutions.
- Work closely with internal teams such as Engineering, Billing and Customer Service to deliver the best customer experience.
- Actively contribute to sales strategies and market development at both regional and national levels.

You have at least a higher professional education (HBO) qualification, for example in Business Economics, Property Management or Business Administration.

You have 5 to 10 years’ experience in a commercial role, preferably within commercial property or property management.

You have a good technical insight and understand complex client environments.

You excel at relationship management and negotiate at a strategic level.

You work independently, take the initiative and are results-oriented.

You have strong communication skills and interact easily with various stakeholders.

You live in or near Limburg.
