Within the ‘Debicasso’ product team, too, we are constantly working to improve processes, collaboration and service delivery.
To further shape this development, we are looking for a Team Lead for Accounts Receivable Management & Debt Collection who combines leadership with process improvement and a customer-focused approach. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Debicasso team and will play a key role in further professionalising and standardising the department.
The service involves the outsourcing of clients’ administrative tasks relating to heating costs and the financial settlement thereof.
In this role, you will lead a team of 12 staff members and focus on quality, progress, collaboration and results. You will be a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and will report to the Finance Director.
Our office is based in Schiedam.
This is what you are going to do.
As Team Lead for Accounts Receivable Management & Debt Recovery, you will combine leadership, process optimisation and operational management within a department that makes a significant contribution to our services.
Leadership & team development
- You will lead the Debicasso team and ensure the optimal allocation of tasks and capacity.
- You will coach and develop your staff, encouraging ownership, collaboration and personal growth.
- You create a positive, results-oriented team culture in which quality and continuous improvement are central.
You encourage open communication within the team and between different departments.
Operational Management
- You manage the entire Debicasso process, from settlement and administrative processing to accounts receivable management and debt collection procedures.
- You monitor performance using KPIs and actively focus on quality, efficiency and results.
- You monitor the department’s capacity and progress and ensure that work is carried out efficiently.
- You act as the point of escalation for complex cases, complaints and exceptional situations.
You will monitor cash flow in consultation with clients.
Process improvement & collaboration
- You will play an active role in further optimising the financial control function within the team.
- You will identify bottlenecks in processes and service delivery and work with other departments on structural improvements.
- You will actively contribute to standardising and professionalising our services.
- You will initiate and implement process improvements that enhance quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- You will support sales processes, both internally and externally, drawing on your specialist expertise.

You have completed a higher professional education (HBO) or university (WO) degree, for example in Finance, Business Administration or a similar field.

You have at least 5 years’ relevant work experience in financial administration, outsourcing, shared services, accounts receivable management, operations or billing.

You have a good understanding of administrative processes, accounts receivable management, invoicing and debt collection procedures.

You have strong analytical skills and a well-developed understanding of processes.

You have experience with ERP systems, preferably AFAS.

You communicate easily with various stakeholders at an operational and tactical level.

You handle escalations and complex situations in a professional manner.
