To further strengthen our technical services, we are looking for a Technical Project Manager who can successfully combine technical expertise, project management and asset management.
You will be working within the technical management team at ista Nederland (istaDES).
In this role, you will be responsible for the technical management and further sustainability improvements of communal heating, cooling and domestic hot water systems. You will oversee projects from preparation through to handover and act as the technical point of contact for clients, suppliers and installers. In doing so, you will focus on quality, continuity and the optimal performance of our systems throughout their entire lifecycle.
In this senior role, you will have considerable scope to make technical decisions independently and to help shape our long-term strategy for maintenance, renovation and sustainability. You will assess technical scenarios, set priorities for investments and act as a key technical authority within the team for complex issues.
Our office is based in Schiedam.
This is what you are going to do.
As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the technical management, performance and further sustainability improvements of communal heating, cooling and hot water systems managed by ista on behalf of its clients.
• You will be responsible for the asset management of communal heating, cooling and hot water systems managed by ista on behalf of its clients.
• You will develop the long-term technical vision for the maintenance, refurbishment, replacement and sustainability improvements of these systems.
• You will draw up Long-Term Maintenance Plans (MJOPs) and advise clients on investments, risks and strategic decisions.
• You will take the lead on complex technical issues and optimisation projects.
• You will manage installers, suppliers and consultants, whilst monitoring quality, budget and results.
• You will act as the technical point of contact for clients and represent ista in matters relating to complex technical and business-critical installations.
• You will actively contribute to the further professionalisation of asset management and technical services within ista.

You have a higher vocational education (HBO) level of working and thinking, preferably in the field of Installation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical discipline.

You have extensive relevant work experience, preferably 8 years or more, in the field of installation engineering or the technical management of building services.

You have experience in drawing up Long-Term Maintenance Plans (MJOPs) and developing maintenance, refurbishment and replacement strategies.

You have experience in a senior technical role, for example as an Asset Manager, Technical Manager, Senior Project Manager, Maintenance Engineer or Technical Consultant within the building services engineering or energy sector.

You have experience with district heating, cooling and domestic hot water systems, or similar building-related energy installations.

You are used to making technical judgements independently and advising clients on investments, risks, maintenance, refurbishment and making installations more sustainable.

You enjoy visiting customers throughout the Netherlands and like to be on site to work with customers and installers to find the best technical solutions.

You hold a BRL 6000-21 certification or are willing to obtain it in the near future.
